OUR MISSION
Working Towards a Better Tomorrow
Our mission in HSA is to play an active role in providing social and mutual support for all of the members of our association. Not only are we trying to provide such support, but we strive to promote and enhance leadership skills among the Hmong students in higher education. Other goals that we work for each year is to assist UW-Eau Claire in increasing its numbers in enrollment and graduation of our Hmong students, to advocate for the inclusion of a Hmong-related curriculum here at UW-Eau Claire, to promote awareness of the Hmong culture within HSA, the campus, and throughout the community, and to network with other students and similar associations at other colleges and universities.

HSA is striving to serve its members, peers, and community with life changing experiences and relationships. Every year new members (majority of Hmong students) join HSA in hope of walking away with this great experience.HSA started as a small group of Hmong students who wanted to help and support each other academically as well as learn about their roots and culture. Today, HSA's membership has grown tremendously. Recruiting non-Hmong students, as well as the increasing Hmong students (over 50 participating members).HSA continues to prosper towards our goals with high hopes!
