Chao Vang
President
Chao Vang (he/him/his) is a 3rd year student and is from Menomonie, WI. He is majoring in elementary education. During his free time, he enjoys reading and playing games (some of his favorite games are Pokémon and Monster Hunter). An interesting fact about him is he likes to eat spicy food. Chao is looking forward to the many events planned for this year!
Branden Vue
Vice-President
Branden Vue is a 2nd year student and is from Maplewood, Minnesota. He is majoring in Kinesiology. Some things he likes to do when he is free are playing sports like football, basketball, volleyball and fishing! Some interesting facts about him are, he is the youngest out of three and is a multi sport athlete! What Branden looks forward to in HSA are the fun events we are holding and also meeting all the new members!
Payeng Xiong
Secretary
Payeng Xiong is a 3rd year student and is from Wausau, WI. Her major is Psychology and her pronouns are she/her/hers. During her free time she likes to watch dramas and play sports such as football/volleyball. Interesting facts about her are, she is the youngest in her family and LOVES dumplings. For this year, Payeng is looking forward to meeting all the new members of HSA and expanding her knowledge on leadership skills.
Justin Yang
Treasurer
Justin Yang is a 3rd year student and is from Holmen, Wisconsin. His major is
Math Education, and he is also going for a Critical Hmong Studies Certificate. His pronouns are he/him/his. One sport Justin loves to do is fish. An interesting fact about him is he ran distance in middle school and high school for track. Justin looks forward to meeting all the new faces and holding fun events for everyone!
Hlintsa Lor
Public Relations
Hlintsa Lor is a 2nd year student and is from Wausau, Wisconsin. She is majoring in Accounting, and her pronouns are she/her/hers. During her free time she likes to crochet, Journalize, Watch Netflix, Bake and Workout. An interesting fact about her is she is a very fun and competitive person (challenge her!). She also enjoys fishing, and she likes to hangout with friends and family.
Hlintsa looks forward to working behind the scenes and seeing HSA members have a great time together!
Mai See Yang
Social Coordinator
Mai See Yang is a 2nd year student and is from Holmen, Wisconsin. Her major is Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her pronouns are she/her/hers. During her free time, she likes to watch Netflix, read young adult fiction books, and clean. Some interesting facts about her are, having double jointed elbows (they look broken when extended), and she doesn't like to eat mushrooms! What Mai See looks forward to this year in HSA is planning all the events for our members and having fun with everyone!
Chi Meng Chang
Historian
Chi Meng Chang is a 2nd year student and is from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. His major is currently Business Pre-Professional and his pronouns are he/him/his. During his free time, he likes to play video games or exercise. Some interesting facts about him are playing soccer and singing(Check out his youtube channel!). Chi Meng is looking forward to meeting all the first year students, so he can create more memories just like his first year at UWEC!
Emily Moua

Emilly Moua is a 3rd year student and is from Lacrosse, Wisconsin. She's majoring in Elementary Education and her pronouns are she/her/hers. During her free time, she likes to watch anime and K-Dramas. Interesting facts about her are enjoying photography, and having a pet dog. Emily looks forward to meeting everyone and making a positive impact on others!
